Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made on examophobia.com ("Examophobia"), owned and operated by Argasia Education Private Limited. Examophobia sells digital subscriptions and credits that provide access to AI answer-writing evaluation, mock tests, practice questions and related online study tools. As these are digital services delivered instantly, the terms below apply.
1. Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by writing to us. On cancellation, you will continue to have access until the end of the period already paid for; the plan will not renew thereafter.
- If your plan is auto-renewing (where offered), cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
2. Refund Eligibility
Because access is digital and granted immediately on purchase, fees are generally non-refundable once the service has been activated and used. However, we offer refunds in the following cases:
- Goodwill window: You may request a full refund within 7 (seven) days of purchase provided you have not substantially used the service (for example, no answer evaluations consumed and no test attempted using the purchased plan/credits).
- Duplicate / accidental payment: If you were charged more than once for the same order, or charged in error, the extra amount will be refunded in full.
- Service not delivered: If you paid but did not receive access due to a technical failure on our side and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable time, you will receive a full refund.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
- Plans/credits that have been substantially used (evaluations consumed, tests attempted, materials accessed).
- Requests made after the goodwill window stated above.
- Free trials, promotional, discounted or bundled offers, unless stated otherwise at purchase.
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated scores or feedback, since these are automated practice aids and not guarantees of any examination result.
4. How to Request a Refund
Email support@examophobia.com from your registered email with your name, registered mobile number, order/transaction ID, date of purchase and reason for the request. We may ask for additional details to verify the transaction.
5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through the payment gateway used (such as Paytm).
- Refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days of approval. The time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank/gateway.
- Any gateway or transaction charges, where non-recoverable, may be deducted as applicable.
